How they work
An extension is not a second system.
Granted, not installed
Your organization asks for an extension and it is granted to that organization. Nothing is downloaded, and nothing changes for practices that did not ask.
One record, not a copy
The specialty tab writes to the same patient record as the rest of the platform. There is never a second answer to what is on a tooth or what the ejection fraction was.
Your access rules still apply
Every request the tab makes is authenticated by the module, checked against your access control, and written to the same audit trail as any other screen.

Extensions are built with the practices that need them, one specialty at a time. The Doctor Module already runs a general clinic end to end, so tell us what your specialty records that it does not, and we will tell you honestly whether it is months away or already there.
